Available online through the Loyola Notre Dame Library, Historical Statistics of the United States provides statistics from colonial times to 1970 from over 1000 sources. It includes over 37,000 data series and a wide variety of topics, among them slavery, American Indians, and poverty.

The Loyola Notre Dame Library now has access to a fully searchable online archive of The Times [London] from 1785-1985. The archive includes all articles, advertisements and illustrations/photos.
